Its proximity to Raleigh, the Research Triangle Park, RDU Airport and local universities make it a perfect place to enjoy the benefits of the nearby cities but enjoy a “Smaller than a City”-feeling. The Town of Cary sponsors many family activities throughout the year and has an extensive Parks & Recreation program, offering cultural and fitness classes for toddlers all the way up to seniors. Other outlets, such as The Kooka Booth Ampitheater, offer places for outdoor concerts.
